What we collect
A parent account needs an email address and a password. A kid profile needs a first name and an age band — no surname, no photo, no email, no phone number.
- Parent email and hashed password
- Kid first name and age band
- Lesson progress, quiz answers and time spent
- Device type and app version, for crash reports
What we never collect
No advertising identifiers, no location, no contacts, no microphone or camera access unless a parent turns on a specific activity that needs it.
- No third-party advertising or data brokers
- No cross-site tracking pixels
- No selling or renting of any data, ever
Why we collect it
Progress data is what lets a lesson pick up where your kid stopped and what feeds the weekly recap you receive. Nothing here is used to target advertising.
Who can see it
The parent who owns the account, and the small number of our staff who need it to run support. We do not share kid data with any third party except the infrastructure providers that host it under contract.
Deleting your data
Delete a kid profile from Family settings and its progress data goes with it. Deleting the parent account removes everything within 30 days, including backups. Write to us and we will confirm once it is done.
